Testing Implementation
The organization’s motive revolved around providing a simplified trading experience for beginners. The team aimed to develop a software application that is easy to use with a simple User Interface that came with certain test automation challenges. The challenge was to keep up with the time of the trading session. Managing scripts, between the trading session slots like pre-open session, regular trading session, Closing Session, and Block Deal Session Timings was a haphazard activity. Limit-based stock selling or buying a conflicting test. While going about test automation using current techniques, the customer was unable to achieve automation of buying and selling the stocks based on the upper and lower limit set by the user. With set automation standards, the test engineers were troubled in initiating a script execution that was falling in, or out of parameters. The buying/selling needed to be processed automatically. Stock broadcast challenges. Tests relied heavily on the APIs and the customer needed a solution that will not require additional investment in upskilling their existing force. They needed a solution to enable their manual testing unit to carry out test automation for API calls. Generally, API tests demand a fair amount of training and the customer was unsure since the application had complicated backend alignment. The customer also needed a solution to automate testing of buying and selling of the same stock using multiple devices/ platforms.
